Is it really painted by hand?

Yes. Every motif is drawn at full size first, then painted onto the bisque in layers and fired twice. Nothing is transferred or printed.

Will my set look exactly like the photographs?

Very close, but not identical. Line weight, colour depth and placement shift slightly from piece to piece because a person painted them. That variation is the character you are buying.

What comes in a full service?

Twenty-four pieces: six dinner plates at 27 cm, six dessert plates at 21 cm, six salad plates at 21 cm and slightly deep, and six soup bowls at 12 cm and deep. A service for six.

Can I buy a single piece?

Pieces are sold in sets of six, which is how they are fired and packed. If you need to replace one broken plate, write to us and we will do what we can.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, on a gentle cycle at a lower temperature. Not microwave safe, because of the metallic pigment in some of the motifs.

Can I mix the collections?

Yes, and it looks better than you would think. The three collections share a palette of coral, sage and warm cream, so a table laid with pieces from all three reads as deliberate rather than accidental.

Do you take custom orders?

For larger orders and for restaurants, yes. Write to us with what you have in mind.

Do you ship outside Egypt?

Yes, on request. Porcelain needs proper crating, so we quote international shipping individually. Tell us what you want and where it is going.

How long until my order arrives?

Inside Egypt, usually two to three working days to pack and two to four to deliver. International timings depend on the destination.
